Joe Vinduska, Censura's guitarist, has been involved in music since he was a young child. As a child, his mother always sang to him and he in turn developed a love of music at a very young age. His parents insisted that he listen to 70's music such as Steve Miller, The Eagles, Chicago, and other artists of that era. He picked up a guitar when he was seventeen, and has had some instruction at the college level where he performed solo's of the blues persuasion in forum settings. Since forming Censura, Vinduska has taken on the task of being the primary song writer, but he loves to focus on all the complimentary aspects by interacting with all the other members of the band and their specific contributions to

each song. He aims to create songs that have multiple volumes, creative effects when needed, heavy breakdowns, and most importantly a wealth of melodies.

Chris Wood started playing bass when he was 13. He started playing by mimicking the sounds of Krist Novoselic of Nirvana and Flea of The Red Hot Chili Peppers. Shortly after, he decided he wanted a sound of his own. He started a band with his brother after a year of playing, and went through several different members. years later, he finally parted ways with the band to begin search for musicians to build a new project. In the short time between, he recorded and performed drums and bass in the studio for a local recording act. After coming together with the other members of Censura, Chris has more than 10 years of experience in music. In addition, He creates all the graphic arts for the band

including website design and merchandise. He is now 23 and turning heads with his work on the bass guitar. He is currently studying web design and marketing, with ambitions to hone skills necessary to achieve the goal of Censura: to be a nationally known touring act.

Joey Kirk provides the vocal craftwork for Censura. In addition, he recorded, engineered, mixed, and produced the band's upcoming self released CD. He was introduced to music at the age of five. His dad introduced him to Pink Floyd and he began to soak up music constantly. While his roots were based in the 70’s he began creating his own music after listening to bands such as the Deftones, Weezer and Tool. He has been in several bands over the past eight years and has recorded full length records for several local acts . Kirk's voice carries a unique tone, and his range and ability to write catchy vocal parts make him an excellent front man. As with all the members of Censura, he is energetic and passionate when he is on and off stage.
